Athena continuous application
With this premium, the Division for the Chemical Sciences (CW) wants to realise the flow of women in the large group of postdocs with a temporary appointment to a tenured scientific position.
Clinical Fellows
The programme Clinical Fellows is aimed at doctors who have completed the AGIKO course (Medical Assistant Training to be Clinical Researcher) or a comparable course. They must be willing to arrange their clinical-scientific work at an academic level as clinical specialists with a PhD degree, general practitioners or medical officers, for instance to present themselves as future candidates to be academic staff members or professors.
Cooperation China (CSC) - Talent and Training (TTChina)
The aim of the programme is to increase the quality and quantity of PhD research in the Netherlands and to strengthen scientific cooperation with China, by inviting highly talented Chinese PhD candidates to conduct research at selected Dutch graduate schools.

Cooperation Germany - von Humboldt Stiftung (VHS) continuous application
VHS makes two research prizes available each year to enable Dutch senior researchers to conduct their own research for a period of between 4 and 12 months at a German research institute, while NWO offers the same opportunity for two German senior researchers to conduct their own research in the Netherlands.
Doctoral Grant for Teachers
The aim of Doctoral Research for Teachers is to increase the number of teachers holding a doctorate, as this will help to boost the quality of education provided. The programme is open to teachers from primary, secondary, vocational, higher and special education.
Graduate Programme
Inter-university or local graduate schools can apply for a blockgrant of k€ 800 to appoint PhD students. The Graduate Programme aims to strengthen the Dutch PhD system by stimulating the incorporation of elements of the American Graduate School system.
Innovational Research Incentives Scheme
The Innovational Research Incentives Scheme consists of three different ; personal subsidy forms, each of which is designed for a different phase in the ; scientific careers of researchers, whether they only recently took their PhD or ; are already experienced and on the brink of a professorship.

More Women Researchers as University Lecturers (MEERVOUD) open for application
The purpose of Meervoud is to create temporary assistant professorship positions with the quarantee of a tenured assistant professorship within the university. Both the temporary and permanent position should be at least 0.8 fte. Upon submitting the proposal, the university provides a declaration of intent stating that the candidate will obtain a tenured assistent professorship upon completing the Meervoud project.

The Mosaic programme is designed to attract more ethnic minority graduates into academic research, in order to promote diversity.

PhDs in the Humanities
The aim of the new PhD programme is to attract young research talent in the humanities. The structure enhancement plans of universities/faculties for education and organisation form the necessary framework for this. Two types of PhD position can be applied for, namely standard PhD positions and PhD positions for lecturers.
Rubicon
The aim of the Rubicon programme is to encourage talented researchers who have completed their doctorates in the past year the chance to gain experience at a top research institution outside the Netherlands (maximum of two years).

The programme Teacher in Research allows fully qualified mathematics teachers to spend a number of months doing scientific research at a university.
