WOTRO launches MFSII Evaluations websiteWOTRO recently launched the website for the Joint MFS II Evaluations of development interventions. This research programme aims to evaluate development interventions implemented by Dutch Co-Financing Agencies and their (Southern) partners and, by doing so, to contribute to the improvement of future development interventions. | DFID: £4,5 million for new call CoCooNThe UK Department for International Development (DFID) has allocated £4,5 million (approximately 5,4 million euros) to fund a new phase in the CoCooN programme. The funding will be used to finance a new call for proposals. Applications should focus on the theme Conflict or Cooperation in Managing Climate Change (CCMCC). The call will be developed in the coming months and is expected to be launched before the summer of 2012. WOTRO will once again be responsible for managing the call. Conference Food Business across BoundariesOn 15 March, WOTRO co-hosted the conference Food First: Food Business across Boundaries. The meeting was attended by approximately 120 people. Together, they discussed what knowledge is necessary to increase global food security and how scientists, companies and government can work together in developing and applying research results and innovations that offer solutions for the growing food demand?
