Aim
The PoaC programme aims to support excellent fundamental and applied research in which new technological concepts are developed for the initiation of novel production processes in the areas of food technology, chemistry and life sciences.

Theme
The interdisciplinary PoaC programme forms a bridge between chemistry and micro-system technology, between fundamental science and its innovative applications. The programme consists of four themes, each addressing a key challenge: basic expertise, analysis on a chip, synthesis on a chip, and mixing and separation on a chip.

Financial contributions are obtained from NWO, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Partners, Enablers and participating universities.
